Group of Horsemen in France, 1916

Belfast Weekly Telegraph, 16 December 1916

A group of North Irish Horsemen of the 2nd Regiment, probably at Boeschepe in France, from the Belfast Weekly Telegraph, 16 December 1916. The image was captioned as follows:

SOME N.I.H. BOYS.

Standing -- Trooper Howe, Sergt. Simpson, Lance Corpl. Henry, Trooper Cole. Sitting -- Sergts. McGovern, Ellison, and Sheridan. Bottom row -- Trumpeter McVeigh, Trooper Green, Trumpeter Barbour. All of the North Irish Horse. Every success to the good old Blues.

My thanks to Nigel Henderson, researcher at History Hub Ulster, for providing this image.
